Julia Polzer finished her Master of Arts in German Philology at the University of Vienna. She is engaged in individual artistic projects. She participated in various workshops, single-
and groupexhibitions in different cities around the world.
She takes pictures, writes texts and filmcritiques
and was also participating in curating filmfestivals.

"At Kirtag everybody is just wearing a Dirndl"
with Yusuf Ahmed Mohamed
It's August 2019 and Yusuf is visiting Vienna for the first time. He meets Julia from Austria at a film shoot and asks for her help. Something has caught his eye: Who are all these people in "special dresses" and where are they going? He wants to get to the bottom of this and document it for his video channel.
Yusuf and Julia are taken on a fun journey to the annual Neustifter Kirtag to find out what it is all about - the Dirndl.
